PHILADELPHIA FLYERS
– On March 5th 2022, the Philadelphia Flyers hosted their very first Marvel Super Hero™ Day sponsored by SeatGeek. This fully immersive program featured:
– An all fan poster giveaway
– An exclusive variant cover comic limited to the first 5,000 fans
– A special ticket package that featured a limited-edition t-shirt!
As part of the game-day experience fans were treated to special concourse and in-game activations, as well as Marvel-themed food offerings.
Homage Cover Poster Giveaway
– All fans in attendance received a Flyers Marvel Poster paying homage to the iconic cover of Marvel’s Infinity Gauntlet #1 comic book.

Variant Comic Giveaway
– The first 5,000 fans also received an exclusive Gritty/Iron Man Variant Cover edition of the Avengers #53 comic book.

T-Shirt Special Ticket Package
– Fans also had the option to purchase a special Flyers Marvel ticket package that included a ticket to the game and an exclusive Gritty/Iron Man t-shirt.
Attendance Stats
– At the time of the event the Flyers were ranked 16th in the NHL averaging 16,572 fans per game
The Marvel Super Hero activation drew 18,448 fans, resulting in a 11 percent increase in attendance over average on a Saturday afternoon vs non-traditional rival Chicago Blackhawks
The event provided a 6 percent increase over average for a Saturday game, and was the highest attended game since 11/26 vs division rival Carolina Hurricanes
The game was the second highest attended Saturday game, and the 5th highest attended game overall for the Flyers at the time
Attendance for the game was 24 percent higher than the previous home game with a promotion on Tuesday 2/22 vs St. Louis

Philadelphia Flyers Marvel Super Hero Day Attendance Stats 2023
– The Marvel Super Hero™ Day activation drew 19,412 fans, resulting in a 13% increase in attendance over average (avg. 17,180 / 19th in NHL), vs non-traditional opponent Nashville Predators.
– The event was the the highest attended Saturday game of the season and provided a 15% increase over average for a Saturday game (avg. 16,877). It was also the 2nd highest attended game of season overall at the time (Highest 12/20 vs Columbus att. 19,432).
– In comparison to other Flyers giveaway games, the variant comic book and poster was 8% higher than average for a giveaway game on the season (avg. 17,901), (Highest since 10/13 Opening Night T-Shirt giveaway att. 19,107). It was also the highest attended theme night, and 14% higher than the average of all theme nights at the time (avg. 16,996). The game was also 15% higher than Star Wars Night on 12/7 (att. 16,826).
– The game was 6% higher than comparable 2022 February Saturday game (Saturday 2/26/22 att. 18,276). The game was also 5% higher than last season’s Marvel Super Hero™ Day game (Saturday 3/5/22, att. 18,448).
