– In 2019, the Washington Nationals held their first Marvel Super Hero Day and used it to honor long-time Nationals captain, Ryan Zimmerman
– Zimmerman was featured in the spirit of Captain America as a limited edition bobblehead and given the name “Captain Zimmerman”
– The event featured concourse activations, pre-game activities and elements, and a retail program

– First 10,000 fans received a “Captain Zimmerman” bobblehead upon entry
– 35 of the 10,000 were signed by Ryan Zimmerman and given away to 35 lucky fans
– Nationals filmed him signing the bobbleheads and added a Marvel element to help promote on social and in-game the day before to help push the giveaway
